The Unbelievable truth by Gordon Smith
Gordon Smith, the internationally respected medium and author of ‘Spirit Messenger’ astounds people with the incredibly accurate messages he brings from the spirit world, and explains how he gets his information with no tricks and no mumbo-jumbo.
Having read ‘Spirit Messenger’, which was this writers previous book, I was looking forward to this one, and to the no nonsense style of Gordon Smith. He is renowned for the accurate messages he tells grieving people about their friends and family who have died. In this book, firstly he attempts to explain how mediums get their information, and why spirits choose to communicate with us. All the information is drawn from the writers own personal experience and he uses a lot of humour and anecdotes to explain his points. He also touches on ghosts, and poltergeists and how some people in a vulnerable state can be conned by frauds and pseudo-spiritualists only out to make money.
I particularly found the section of the book on out of body experiences and reincarnation most interesting and learned a lot.
This is obviously not a book for everyone. However, if you have an interest in things spiritual, it is a breath of fresh air compared to the sensational charlatans who promise the earth, and come up with generalities and ambiguous messages form the other side. There is an amazing reference to a séance which took place in 1944 and is well documented and hit the headlines. The medium was Helen Duncan and the séance was inPortsmouth. What was so amazing was that a young soldier who had been killed on the HMS Barham materialised and told his mother she would receive confirmation of his death in three weeks time. The book is chock full of stories like this and their follow ups.
I would highly recommend both books, ‘Spirit Messengers’ and ‘The Unbelievable Truth’ to open minds and those willing to learn something about life after death.
